Excess Moisture Control & TML Assessment
Pre-loading moisture surveys for solid bulk cargoes such as iron ore, aligned with IMSBC Code awareness.
Overview
What this service delivers.
Some solid bulk cargoes can liquefy at sea when their moisture content exceeds the Transportable Moisture Limit (TML). Our pre-loading excess moisture control surveys help shippers, charterers and vessel operators understand cargo condition before loading, supporting safer voyages under the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code.
Moisture content testing, TML determination and FMP testing are distinct activities. Specialised laboratory tests are arranged only where technically supported and agreed for the assignment.
